Like I said before, all movies/tv shows that aren't compressed work fine. Inside this new folder is the shows converted to mp4, but is not being moved to my actual tv show folder, which is in S:/TV. rar file through 7zip and a new folder is created in S:/Torrents with (-convert) at the end of the new folder. The issue I have is when the show is compressed and Deluge must extract it first.Īfter the show is downloaded, deluge executes the. All my movies/tv shows are snatched, converted, and moved fine if they aren't compressed. I meant on my existing shows in sickbeard, if I point sonarr to the “finished” directory, I assume I still have to add the show as a “wanted” show in sonarr.I just recently switch my server to a different computer, and for the life of me cannot get this to work like it used to. Not sure what you mean, you’ll need to add them to Sonarr, Sonarr will scan the folder for files an link in what is available In a nutshell, my point was simply that if it wasn’t a requirement to have the quality listed in order to pull the shows into sonarr’s world, then it wasn’t important to me on the initial migration (if there wasn’t a way to do it via sickbeard automatically). I assume I can have sonarr list the quality moving forward and still have the ability to upgrade quality etc going forward on any shows that sonaar downloads. I just meant that I didn’t care if sonarr knew the quality on my existing shows that sickbeard had already downloaded. It doesn’t need to be there, but is recommended. Sonarr will assume the quality based on the extension (if it’s not in the file name), which might make it think you have a different quality file than you real do, which is fine if you don’t care and don’t want to upgrade files to a better quality later. Any additional help would be appreciated. Am I missing something, or just making this more difficult than it needs to be? I don’t really care if sonarr knows the quality of the shows it imports, but will it import without that additional data? Also, will I have to re-add shows to sonarr that are already existing shows with existing libraries? I would assume so. I should probably mention that I’m on a windows machine. I tried to manual post process my library, but get an error that those are already processed directories. I changed the naming convention in sickbeard for future episodes, but can see where to do it to existing. I’ve read that you can change the naming to include the quality, and then let sickbeard rename my entire library so that sonarr can correctly pull everything in. Well I never had sickbeard put the quality in the name. I’ve done a lot a searching and reading about migrating existing libraries, but I’m still a little confused.Įverything I have read has stated that as long as your file structure/naming is “good” in sickbeard, then you can point sonarr at the director and scan it. Well with the lack of support and further development, I’ve decided to take the plunge. I’ve had issues here and there, but hadn’t had a compelling reason to switch despite hearing about the buzz around sonarr (nzbdrone). (Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here)ĭescription of issue: I’ve been a sickbeard user for many years. Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
